Sometimes life isn't fair

Today a tragic accident caused all of Phoenix to become depressed! How often do you hear that headline? Most likely you have never read that anywhere but did you ever wonder why? Today several Phoenix residence were killed in a bus accident. Two killed attended Deer Valley High School and were members of the local young life group. I can only pray those who were killed were all Christ followers. This New Year brings so many joys but it also brings a whole new set of depressing events. It is exciting to see who will be the next president but scary to think how many will die in the war. As women, it is our role to be caring but is it possible to be spread-too-thin? There is so much going on in the world and it's almost overwhelming. If we cannot care for all do we just care for some? How do you select whom you have compassion for when you can hear all the world crying? I am haunted by bad dreams at night because sometimes it just seems lonely. The world has become so detached and their needs to be love. What does that mean exactly; LOVE? It means show love, feel love and if you can experience love. That is how God intended this world to be to love your fellow man and praise him. We make everything so complicated and really all this life is about is worshiping God and sharing love with others. Believe me I need to practice what I preach but I think this year might be my time to shine. I invite you women to get back to your roots and just care for others and love them with all you have. It's what we were born to do, not gather or hunt but simply love. As Valentines Day is approaching I hope you will show love instead of just buying into the commercialism of it all. Do something for someone that they will never forget and I guarantee you never will either. We love because he first loved us!
