I can't wait to see this film it seems more natural than the last one and seems like they updated their technology. This book was slower than the fist book but really develops the relationship between Bella and Edward and allows us to see what Jacob really is and why his role is important. I felt the last movie didn't use enough CGI and the acting felt forced. This film coming out November 2009 is sure to be better. The clips were filmed by someone attending Comic-Con so there are screams whenever you see abs. Ladies this is my Friday treat to you...enjoy these ABS!

Harry Potter and Half Blood Prince casts a spell on me

I know it's been a long time but sometimes if you don't have anything good to write you're better off not writing. I finally have something exciting to talk about with the long awaited release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. First off, you should know I am an extreme Potter fan. I have an intense relationship with the characters and I am pretty sure one time I caught myself pretending to be Harry. So you can imagine how disappointed I was when they pushed the movie back last summer. It was something I looked forward to all year and being told I had to wait another year was like a rough stab in the chest. Finally, I got to see the film. I walked into the theater, put on my glasses and prayed that the previews would go quickly and suddenly...there it was. It was perfect! The characters did a fantastic job as always and the setting brings you into the magical world we all wish we were a part of. This film is a bit darker than the others but I like that the young Hogworts kids are growing up and learning that they wont be protected forever. This journey has romance involved which is silly and fun. The only negative aspect to this film is that it's the first time it's not followed the book exactly. The ending is different and I am not sure it totally worked for me. The book was an extreme hit and a best seller and I am not sure why producers always take it upon themselves try and change the good. Keep the great, great. In my mind that was the only negative aspect to the film. Everything else was pretty spot on. I love watching the characters grow up in front of me. It's like I am part of their lives and they have been part of my childhood as well. After the film was over I was completely depressed because the next two films are not set to come out till 2010 and 2011. That seems entirely too far away. It seems the Potter saga will span 10 years or more of my life. I am secretly happy they split the last book into 2 films because that means I get another year of surprises with the new movie. There is something about this book and these films that makes me feel connected. I can't help but feel like I am at the school and wishing it all was real. I yearn to know that there is a magical world of exciting thrills where kids can fight evil and win. I loved this movie and I hope you will too. It brought the Potter magic back to my heart and there it will remain until the next film.
