Heidi Montag stinks up the stage

Miss Universe pagent welcomes Heidi Montag to the show and what a bad choice that was. I was waiting with anticipation to see Montag strut her stuff on stage for the first time. What I saw was lip singing, an electronic voice and horrible dancing. She was awful but that’s exactly what I was expecting so I guess she fulfilled my expectations. It’s almost insulting that she has a record deal because she cannot sing, which is clear from all the vocal enhancements she has added to her voice. Whatever happened to real singers succeeding because they have real talent? It seems that young women who can’t even hold a tune are shoved down our throat daily in the hopes that we will be impressed by their looks and moves. I’m not impressed. It takes a voice like Mariah Carry, Whitney Houston and Christina Aguilera to really wow me. It seems that the country genre has really kept up with the good natural talent and produce actual stars who sound in person like they do on their CDs. I hope that America will tire of this electronic sound and doctored voices because it’s getting really old. I don’t even think you can call it talent it’s just a lot of money spent to make a pretty girl sound normal. I’m over it and I am defiantly over Heidi. I seriously think Heidi needs to see someone because she is crazy. I am excited to watch the rest of the competition to see some women, who are actually talented, compete. I am a bit biased…GO USA!!

Brunettes need love too....and here it is!

Calling all brunette beauties I have a great hair tip for you. I just starting using the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Shampoo and Conditioner and I have really noticed a difference in my hair. I am a religious blow dryer so my hair is often dry due to the intense heat. Since, I have used this product I have noticed my hair looks more nourished and is smoother. It's like my hair has had the boost of it's life! After I give it a quick blow dry it looks like I stepped out of a salon with incredible shine and luster. The smell is fantastic too. Now of course it's not all great news about this product because the price is killer. The average price runs about $7 per shampoo and conditioner and you only get 8.45 FL.OZ. In the recession it's hard to spend on simple things like hair products. Herbal Essences, for example, only cost around $4 per hair product. That's a whole $3 you could be saving just by starting a cheaper hair care regime. I am often a price oriented person so I usually buy based on that but I decided to try something new. I am glad I did. I guess you get what you pay for and I do recommend this John Frieda product to any brunette to enhance the natural beauty of your hair. Try it out, you wont be sorry.

Project Runway Makes it Work!

I was so excited to watch the premier of Project Runway. It is one of my favorite shows and when I heard talks that BRAVO dropped the show I was shocked! I have always thought the show did fairly well as far as ratings go. You can imaging my relief when I heard Lifetime was picking it up and a grand new season would start again. The Lifetime channel isn't just celebrating their Top Runway buy they are sucking as many funds as they can out of the show by starting the night with Project Runway: All Star Challenge, then Project Runway and then aired the Models of the Runway reality show that looks into the lives of the Project Runway models. It was about 3 hours of fashion TV. I do love fashion though so I wasn't necessary upset they decided to benefit from the show. I must add I thought that most of the designs that the supposed All Stars made were just awful. I didn't really think most came with there A game and some were even sleeping throughout the intense competition. I was thrilled when the new season started. I loved that they pretty much had the new contestants do the same red carpet challenge that the All Stars did in the previous show. The even more impressive thing was the new season cast blew away the all stars as far as designs are concerned. Right away my top favorite contestants are Shirin Askari, Irina Shabayeva, Gordana Gehlhausen, Carol Hannah Whitefield and Christopher Straub. Their designs were very professional and actually something I could imagine a star wearing on the red carpet. I am guessing most of my favorites will end up staying awhile. The guest judge for the premier was miss Lindsey Lohan. Usually I am not a fan of that crazy red, but I felt she did offer some mature impute that was really factual. Maybe she does know something about fashion...who knew? Did anyone else out there think that Ari Fish (crazy girl who was kicked off first) looked like Lohan's ex Samantha Ronson? I wonder if Lohan will stalk her and start randomly dating women again. The show was fantastic and I really think it has a very talented group that will be tough competitors. I can't wait to see what the rest of the show brings. Hopefully my favorites wont be "OUT" too soon.

Aging Gracefully....I am not sure that's possible

The other day I finally realized I am aging...and I am not sure gracefully. I know you are all thinking I am nuts because I am only 24. Well all I know is I can see fine lines starting to appear and these huge brown areas have started to take over my face. This is not something I wanted to see happening to me in my twenties. My skin is extremely fair and I have lots of freckles, which should tell you I am Irish. Although I do my best to keep out of the sun now, I didn't when I was a kid. Growing up in Arizona makes it difficult to keep out of the harmful rays and I didn't always remember to wear sunscreen. Now I bathe in sunscreen but they say about 80% of skin damage is already done before you turn 18. That leaves us struggling all our adult lives trying to fix the damage we caused when we are younger.Well I decided to try to save my skin while I still had a fighting chance so I bought Neutrogena Ageless Intensives™ Tone Correcting Moisture SPF 30. I have only been using it about 2 weeks now and that's not much time to review it yet. I have noticed that my skin feels better and it is helping clear my dry skin spots. I love that this has a high SPF because most face lotions only have SPF 15. The lotion is packed with Vitamin C to brighten the dark spots and also has Retinol to help with the lines. I am putting this on daily to hopefully help my skin. I am not sure if it's too late to treat but I know when I get pregnant the dark spots are only supposed to get worse. I will keep you updated on the results but my husband mentioned he noticed a difference. Hopefully, it's not to late to save my skin! Here is the website to read more about it

http://omg.yahoo.com/blogs/crush/taylor-lautner-talks-new-moon/214

Hello Twilight Fans...another New Moon trailer is out. The above link (copy/paste if it isn't live) will take you to the interview with Taylor Lautner. He describes the role Jacob has in this film and how his relationship grows with Bella. This trailer also shows a quick snapshot of Dakota Fanning, which I was dying to see what she looks like in this film. I hope you enjoy it the trailer. This made me even more excited about the movie if that's possible. Happy watching.
